The different steps in transforming Photos To Canvas

Posted by admin on March 25th, 2009 and filed under Prints |

It is easy to understand a procedure if one divides the same into logical steps. This goes for anything and the process of acquiring canvas pictures and photos to canvas should not be any exception. Like with all kinds of business, the process starts with the customers choosing the particular photographs that they would want to change to canvas pictures. They would then need to send the same across to the providers of photo printing, many of which are having an on-line presence as of now. The customers would then lay down their specifications pertaining to the size, the shape, and the special effects that they would like to see in the photos.

Once this is done, the customer’s part is over and the professionals at the providers end take over. They generally do all the analysing of the photographs and check the same for different parameters that have a direct bearing on the quality of the same. These could be anything from colours and contrast to brightness. The special effects are added to the photographs in the next stage and the photos on canvas are made just like the customers ordered. Some of the providers also offer image proofing, in which the customers can check out the different specifications of the ordered photographs.

Then comes the technical part of printing on canvas. The photos to canvas are printed on cotton canvas or artist canvas using high-end printers and pigment-based inks. The finished products are then framed and packaged and delivered to the customers within a stipulated time.
